Senior Property Lawyer – Manchester – Up to £40,000

What’s in it for you

• Annual salary £32,000 to £40,000 DOE
• Uncapped bonus
• 5 day working week, working no more than 37.5 hours per week
• Core hours are 9am – 5:30pm, however the office is open, 8am – 7pm Mon – Fri, 9:30am-4:30pm on Sat, and 10am-3:30pm on Sunday so will be working on a rota

What you’ll be doing

• Managing on a day to day basis, a caseload which includes all aspects of the conveyancing transaction from instruction to completion, registration and closure of the file
• Drafting legal documents including Standard Precedent Letters, Contract Packs, Title Reports, Exchange and Completion letters, general correspondence, and Land Registry and HMRC forms
• Carry out Post Completion work including preparing and sending applications to the Land Registry, Stamp Duty Land Tax submissions, file closures and checking account ledgers
• Carry out Pre-completion, Land Registry and Conveyancing searches

What you will have

• Ideally qualified with a Law Degree, LPC, qualified Licensed Conveyancer, Solicitor or Legal Executive (FCILEX)
• Knowledge of Case Management Systems and Microsoft Office especially Word, Excel and Outlook
• Experienced in managing a conveyancing caseload
