Property/Block Manager – Manchester – Up to £32,000

What you’ll be doing

  • Dealing with day-to-day tenant and landlord enquiries
  • Taking ownership for any estates/blocks within their patch, conducting regular walk throughs of those estates/blocks and taking immediate action to put right any issues identified
  • Co-ordinating maintenance for properties including liaising with contractors and Landlords to ensure authorisation for work and the management of any associated invoices
  • Ensuring Properties are compliant with relevant legislation
  • Managing the Tenancy renewal process including consulting with Landlords on their renewal requirements
  • Organising and conducting both ad-hoc and pre-arranged mid-term property inspections
  • Acting upon detail provided by the Client Care and Compliance Manager in regard to potential rent increases and liaising with landlords to implement or upon direct requests to increase rents by Landlords
  • Processing end of tenancy notices including overseeing property check out inspections
  • Processing tenant move ins including overseeing property inventory inspections and consulting with lettings negotiator to ensure timely re-letting

What you will have

  • At Least 2 years recent experience of Property/Lettings management
  • Knowledge of relevant legislation and regulations
  • Full UK driving licence and have use of your own car for business purposes
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and computer literate
  • Excellent organisational, prioritisation and planning skills
