Estate Agency Branch Manager – Newcastle – £30,000 - £35,000 basic salary PLUS Comms

This Estate Agency are really doing things different and have been leading the way for modernising high street agency for a number of years! With an enviable social media presence, which really helps them stay in touch with their target market and client base, this is a great opportunity for a forward thinking property professional to be in the right environment for them!

As the Branch Manager, you will be responsible for the day to day in the office, leading and nurturing a team of negotiators and property managers and bringing new properties on to the market! This will be for the sales and lettings departments, which means your opportunity to offer various services is fantastic, which also means the chance to earn huge commissions is certainly there!

  • Monday to Friday, 09:00 – 17:30, as a Member of the management team you will be expected to cover Saturdays as and when the business needs and time will be given back in lieu
  • Mid October to December you will be required to work most Saturdays and this time will be given back lieu

What you will be doing

  • Setting targets for the sales and lettings team
  • Conducting regular one to one’s with staff
  • Conducting company/department training
  • General overseeing of the office day to day working alongside heads of departments
  • Final point of contact for any complaints
  • Carrying out viewings if needed
  • Assisting in property listings
  • Seeking opportunities to bring on new properties (calling old landlords, chasing up leads from months ago etc)
  • Always striving to improve the business and develop processes
  • Carrying out lettings and sales valuations to bring on new instructions

What you will have

  • Experience in Estate Agency is essential
  • A natural ability to lead and motivate people
  • A willingness to constantly learn and improve  
  • Proven track record of successfully listing properties for sales and lettings is desirable
  • A full UK driving licence and access to your own car
  • Previous management experience desirable
