Conveyancing Fee Earner – Home Based – £30,000 to £38,000 basic salary plus bonus
Current conveyancing experience is a MUST!
Fully remote working
35 hour working week

What you will be doing
In summary but not limited to…
- Deliver an efficient and effective legal service and provide support to the conveyancing department
- Protect client interests at all times, whilst taking precautions against potential fraud and money laundering
- Obtain and check land registry documents and title deeds (if the land is unregistered)
- Draft legal documents, including but not limited to contracts and Land Registry documents
- Update clients and agents in a timely manner and ensure that files are progressed to completion as quickly as possible
- Ensure all files comply with the company policies and the regulatory framework including CLA, SRA and solicitor account rules
- Deal with clients both in person and on the telephone, in a confident manner providing clear, accurate and up to date information
- Provide support to the Conveyancing Assistant and recognise any development areas
- Undertake regular 1-2-1s with the Conveyancing Assistants and support individual performance
- Carry out weekly file reviews, providing updates to clients, third parties and other departments
- To immediately advise your Group Finance Director of any issues that have been brought to your attention regarding any matter regarding Money Laundering or deemed out of the ordinary or that may escalate to a complaint towards us or a partner agent.
What you will have
- Current experience in Conveyancing
- Experience carrying a caseload of a minimum 50 files
- Ability to deal with enquiries on freehold, leasehold and unregistered properties
- Current or previous experience managing an assistant
- Experience with auction sales
- A minimum of 12 months personally carrying a caseload
- Experience with title checks on freehold, leasehold and unregistered properties
