Mortgage Advisor – Wirral – Circa £30,000 annual salary plus commission & car allowance

With over 25 years industry experience as the market leader and with multiple awards recognising their service, this continually successful firm are looking for a talented Mortgage Specialist to work as part of an established and friendly team in one of their multiple branches across Merseyside.

What’s in it for you

• Salary circa £30,000 per annum
• Commission structure - 18% of banked income (Year 1 OTE is around £42k-£45k, year 2 around £55k)
• £300 per month car allowance
• Monday to Friday, 9:00am - 5:30pm
• No weekends
• Annual leave starts at 20 days plus bank holidays and increases by 1 day per year up to a maximum of 25 days

What you’ll be doing

• As a Mortgage and Protection Advisor you will work with clients to assess their financial situations, their goals and risk tolerance allowing you to recommend bespoke mortgage products
• Providing expert advice on mortgage options, interest rates and repayment terms and subsequently assist with mortgage applications and the collection of documentation
• Your role will involve collaboration with lenders, solicitors and other professionals to ensure a smooth process for clients
• You will also be responsible for the evaluation of insurance needs, recommending appropriate life, critical illness and income protection policies whilst at all times maintaining accurate records

What you will have

• CeMap or equivalent qualification
• Experience as a Mortgage Advisor or Protection Advisor
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to build and maintain relationships
• High level of organisation and eye for detail
