Conveyancing Paralegal - Remote - Up to £32,000pa

What you’ll be doing

  • This is a hands-on role, with a mixture of detailed casework 
  • Managing residential conveyancing files
  • Issuing sale contracts - registered and unregistered
  • Dealing with sale enquiries
  • Drafting replies to additional enquiries and requisitions
  • Interpreting and advising on search results
  • Drafting and negotiating contract clauses to suit circumstances
  • Dealing with clients, estate agents and other lawyers confidently on the telephone, give advice and negotiate solutions to problems
  • Undertake exchanges of contracts and completions 
  • Dealing with all conditions in a mortgage offer
  • Prepare completion statements
  • Co-ordinate related sale and purchase transactions 

What you will have

  • Strong experience of working in Residential Conveyancing
  • Experience of dealing with your own exchanges and completions 
  • A thorough understanding of the conveyancing process
  • Ideally a degree in law or have started your CLC, CILEX or equivalent qualification
  • Experience managing and prioritising your own caseload 
  • Must be able to Title Check unaided
