AML Compliance & Complaints Manager - Newcastle - Up to £40,000 DOE
The management of this highly respected property company, which operates nationwide, now seek a Compliance & Complaints Manager with specific Anti-Money Laundering (AML) experience, to support the business.
The successful candidate will have a dual role, with full responsibility for all AML compliance across the business, in addition to resolving all incoming client complaints.
The ideal candidate must posses an excellent knowledge and understanding of AML, ideally from within the property sector, in addition to having experience of resolving any and all matters arising from any customer concerns.

What you'll be doing
This is a new, key role, designed to manage both the firm’s AML policies, procedures and ongoing training needs, in addition to managing any incoming client complaints from across the business.
AML Compliance (Anti-Money Laundering)
- Create, implement and oversee robust AML policies and procedures across the business
- Create, implement and deliver continuous AML training across the business where required
- Liaise with other in-house teams to review and, where needed, amend workflows to ensure AML compliance
- Continually assess the AML policies, identifying areas for improvement and implement changes when necessary
- Manage and maintain relationships with key internal stakeholders across the business
Complaints Management
- Respond to any and all client concerns and complaints in a timely manner, exceeding any expectations set
- Ensure any concerns raised are addressed and resolved internally
- Escalate more serious client concerns
What you will have
- Posses an excellent knowledge and understanding of AML, ideally from within the property sector, where you will have a demonstrable background
- Be of a confident nature, able to deliver training both individually and on a group basis
- Full UK driving licence and access to own vehicle
- Have a proven track record of implementing change
- Have an extremely keen eye for detail
- Able to maintain excellence, at all times in this varied role
