Conveyancing Fee Earner - Gateshead - Up to £42,000 DOE

Based in the Gateshead office, at a long standing legal practice with free on site parking, this is a superb opportunity for either a Licensed Conveyancer / Conveyancing Solicitor or a Conveyancing Fee Earner / Senior Paralegal looking to become qualified.

What you'll be doing

Based at the Gateshead office, and with the help of secretarial support, your role will include:

• Responsibility for managing a full varied caseload
• Handling the sale and purchase of freehold and leasehold properties, new build transactions, re-mortgages, right to buy and help to buy schemes, from inception to completion
• Always protect client interests, whilst taking precautions against potential fraud and money laundering
• Obtain and check land registry documents and title deeds
• Draft legal documents, including contracts and HM Land Registry documents
• Ensuring all files comply with the company policies and the regulatory framework including CLA, SRA and solicitor account rules

What you'll have

• At least 3 years’ experience in Residential Conveyancing working as a Conveyancer
• Ability to title check unaided
• Experience seeing a case through from inception to completion
• Experience of using a legal case management systems
• Able to go out into the locality and generate new business
