We would like to speak with people who have experience in Lettings about this opportunity!
Ideally you will have experience in inspecting properties already, but if you have experience in Lettings we would still really like to speak with you!
You will be joining the Lettings and Property Management team in Newcastle and will be responsible for inspecting properties before, during and after the let. After being on site and completing your inspection, you will complete a report which can be given to the owner/landlord.
This firm provides property and business consultancy services across Northern England and Southern Scotland. They have a team of 80+ that operate from six offices providing innovative solutions for clients across the residential, commercial, rural and development sectors.

What you will be doing
- Based in Newcastle, covering a wide area from Northumberland to North Yorkshire
- Conducting property visits for residential and commercial properties, checking for property defects and tenancy breaches
- Weekly tests on fire alarms in managed buildings
- Regular maintenance checks on fire doors, emergency lighting etc
- Contractor liaison and overseeing works
- Minor works on managed properties, commensurate with the candidates’ skills set (minor plumbing and joinery works etc)
What you will have
- Any experience in the property sector is preferred but not essential
- Have a full driving licence and own car and be willing to travel for work
- Some health and safety/compliance/fire safety knowledge preferred
- Excellent time and diary management skills, with the ability to be flexible and able to prioritise your workload
- Maintain high standards of professionalism with clients, colleagues and contractors
