Building Surveyor – Newcastle – £50,000 to £60,000 plus benefits

What you will be doing

During a Monday to Friday working week, based in the amazing Newcastle office, in summary but not limited to, you will be

• Undertaking both residential and commercial property acquisition surveys
• Prepare schedules of dilapidations
• Prepare schedules of condition
• Defect inspections, dilapidations and project work
• Schedule works, tender and manage projects
• Adaptable to take on new service streams to meet client demand
• Communicating clearly with clients and advise on defects and repairs
• Working with a range of building types from different periods, including listed buildings

What you will have

• A degree in Building Surveying
• MRICS level accreditation
• Experience in both residential and commercial building surveying
• An eagerness to seek out new opportunities
• Established interpersonal, negotiation and communication skills
• A commercially aware outlook, with an ability to network
