Senior Conveyancing Fee Earner - Leeds - £45,000pa to £55,000pa depending on experience

We now seek an experienced Conveyancing professional to join this highly regarded law firm in Leeds as a Senior Conveyancing Fee Earner.

This long-standing firm enjoys an excellent reputation, and a regular influx of repeat work, in addition to new clients to the firm daily, so this is a busy role, where you will be expected to manage a caseload of around 80 files.

What you'll be doing

• Responsibility for managing a full varied caseload of around 80 files
• Handling the sale and purchase of freehold and leasehold properties, new build transactions, re-mortgages, right to buy and help to buy schemes, from inception to completion
• Maintaining and building excellent client relationships
• Always protect client interests, whilst taking precautions against potential fraud and money laundering
• Draft legal documents, including contracts and HM Land Registry documents
• To ensure all files comply with the company policies and the regulatory framework including CLA, SRA and solicitor account rules
• Undertake general administration duties, using a high degree of self-management and initiative
• Deal with clients both in person and on the telephone, in a confident manner providing clear, accurate and up to date information

What you will have

• Experience of working as a Conveyancing Fee Earner
• Previous use of a Case Management system
• A motivated self-starter, able to work remotely effectively and efficiently
