Property Auction Specialist (Land) – Home Based – £28,000 basic plus commission

Current experience in Estate Agency, Land, or New Homes is essential!

We have worked with this business for many years now, placing people in various positions across the UK. They are one of the leading property auction providers in the country whose innovation, technology, and attention to employees, is second to none! 

You will be based at home, supporting partner agents and land agents with promoting and securing land to go into the auction, supported by a team and a team leader for anything you need. If you are really successful in this position, then a pathway to a more senior role is available.

What you will be doing (includes but not limited to)

• Build upon and develop new or existing relationships with partner estate agents
• Maintain high levels of engagement across your portfolio of Land Agents
• Educate Land agents on the benefits of the proposition for auction
• Daily interactions with partner agents utilising various communication methods such as MS Teams, Zoom, telephone calls and app technology
• Encourage partner estate agents to speak to vendors about the benefits of the auction service proposition
• Educate vendors on the benefits of auctions and how it could be a better route to sell their land
• Identifying and appraise new site development opportunities
• Researching the different marketplaces for current values on land and GDV based on the detail of a particular scheme
• Handle all pre auction negotiations on behalf of the Land agent with vendors and buyers in accordance with current AML standards
• Effectively handle any stage one customer complaints from your own portfolio of properties ensuring a successful outcome
• Professionally handle all financial transactions as per procedure

What you will have 

Previous experience in the property industry, focused primarily on Land and New Homes opportunities across a range of scheme sizes and price points including consented and unconsented land is essential!

• Three years minimum Estate Agency experience
• Experience dealing with Land and New Homes transactions
• Track record of success in a target driven environment
• Excellent communication skills and strong telephone manner
• Computer literate with good working knowledge of video conferencing and virtual call handling and use of CRM systems
