Contracts Manager - Doncaster - £40,000pa + Amazing Benefits!
We now seek an experienced Contracts Manager to take the lead with one of the UK's largest residential property regeneration and investment investment firms.
Using your extensive knowledge and experience of residential property maintenance / upgrade and management, and working on a hybrid basis (if required and following a probationary period), you will be responsible for managing a large number of suppliers and contractors, in addition to recommending and on-boarding new providers to the business.
Perhaps with a Facilities Management background, or already a proven Contracts Manager in the property sector, this is an exceptional role not to be missed!

The Role
- Managing around 120 Contractors and Suppliers to the business, from national firms through to independent businesses
- Identify and address skills shortages within the current portfolio
- Source and recommend for new Suppliers for selection
- Ensure all Suppliers are fully compliant and meet the companies strict evaluation processes
- Continually assess the performance of each Supplier
- Embrace, and work towards best practice standards in line with set KPI's, and report on the same
- Work to maintain value and cost efficiency at all times
The Person
- Experience of Contracts Management in the property / property development sector
- Experience of procurement procedures and supplier management
- A strong understanding of the Residential Property sector, along with, ideally overall property management
- Able to build strong working relationships with all Suppliers and Contractors
- Be a keen negotiator with an understanding of current costs in the sector
- Possess strong IT skills and be an excellent communicator at all levels
- Hold a full UK driving license with access to your own vehicle
